After School Club Play Leader

Required to work term time only in NW6, SE1, SE15, SE17, SE22.

Starting Salary £7.20 per hour

 

Applicants must have experience of working in an After School Club, Holiday Play Scheme or similar play environment, preferably with children aged 4 – 12 years. A commitment to quality and equality is vital.

Applicants must have confident skills and abilities in providing play opportunities through a wide range of activities i.e. creative arts and Crafts, cookery music/drama and indoor/outdoor sports. It is important that the post holder has a cheerful personality, teamwork skills, communicates and works well with groups of junior children, infant children and parents.

Applicants will be expected to have NVQ level 2 or 3 Play work / Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

Holiday Play Scheme Play Leader

Required to work half term holidays (February and October), Easter and Summer holidays 

In SE1 and NW6

Starting Salary £7.20 per hour – 35 hour week.

 

Applicants must have experience of working in an After School Club, Holiday Play Scheme or similar play environment, preferably with children aged 4 – 12 years. A commitment to quality and equality is vital. Applicants must have confident skills and abilities in providing play opportunities through a wide range of activities i.e. creative arts and Crafts, cookery music/drama and indoor/outdoor sports. It is important that the post holder has a cheerful personality, teamwork skills, communicates and works well with groups of junior children, infant children and parents.

Applicants will be expected to have NVQ 2 / NVQ 3 in Play Work, Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

After School Club Support worker -

Walking bus

Required to work term time.

Starting Salary £7.20 per hour – 5 hours per week.

(Additional hours may be available)

 

Applicants will work alongside existing staff to collect children from one or two primary schools within the Bermondsey/Rotherhithe/Peckham area and take to the base After School Club. Formal childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential; however applicants must have an awareness of the needs of children and be able to interact well with children aged 4 – 12 years. A commitment to quality and equality is vital alongside

a professional attitude and cheerful disposition.

Applicants must have confident communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of teaching staff.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an ehanced DBS disclosure and

undertake First Aid and Safeguarding training.

Administrative Volunteers wanted

In the area of SE1 during school holidays only

 

Are you looking for office experience or do you already have office experience?

 

Want to improve your administrative skills and gain experience in a thriving office environment?

Are you completing a Business and Administration course or similar?

 

We need volunteers and work experience placements who can work under pressure in a fast paced school environment.

You will be based at our Head Office during February, October half terms, Easter and summer holidays for 4 hours a day between the times of 10.30am - 4.30pm.
