The Play Shelter holiday play schemes cater for children aged 4 – 12 years and opens Monday to Friday during
February and October Half Term holidays, Easter holidays and Summer holidays (excluding Bank holidays) to serve the community of
parents who work, study or are on low income.
The Play Shelter is not an open access provision therefore children who are registered and attend our schemes are not permitted to leave without an authorised adult aged over 16
years.
Opening times: 9.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Extended day: 8.00 a.m. – 6.30 p.m.
Our holiday play schemes focus on play and development opportunities ranging from dance, drama, arts & crafts, music, cookery, sports and off-site trips.
Experienced childcare practitioners work effectively with your children by encouraging their interests and supporting their emerging skills within their choice of activities.
Our social education programmes focus on children learning through interaction with other children and adults. Children are able to make choices within the confines of a safe environment that provides appropriate and fun play opportunities that aid learning.
The Play Shelter is committed to supporting children to develop socially, physically, creatively, morally, emotionally and intellectually.
An exciting variety of outings are available during our holiday play schemes including theme parks, bowling, ice skating, cinema, horse riding and many many more. Our outings programme is only available at one of our
