Welcome to our website, we're delighted you've found us!
We believe that The Play Shelter can provide for all of your childcare needs.
Unfortunately our South London site could not provide a holiday play scheme this Easter due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
However our North West London site provided a great scheme. We provided a new range of activities and outings which was greatly recieved by the children and parents. Again it was great to see so many new children and parents.
We also had some outstanding volunteers this Easter who were worth their weight in gold!
Despite the weather, a great time was had by all and we look forward to seeing you all again in the summer.
The week went by so quickly! You know what they say, time flies when you're having fun!
Again a brilliant time was had by all and it was great to meet so many new children and parents.
The children really enjoyed the new outings on offer, many of which were suggested by the children during their evaluations.
As usual, the support from parents was fantastic.
Unfortunately our North West London site could not provide a holiday play scheme this October due to building works.
However our South London site more than made up for this with the exciting array or activities and outings that were on offer. A new Henna painting workshop has been introduced to the scheme as well as new and exciting outings to theme parks such as Knockhatch and Bekonscott Model Railway Village. The children were challenged on the high ropes and treetop activities at Go Ape! and bounced around a trampoline park!!
We hope those of you who attended had a great half term and look forward to seeing you next year.
Wow!! This was a tough one!! Due to building works happening at one of our sites, we were so sorry that we could only offer a play scheme with limited places this summer. We had a huge waiting list and only hope that those of you who could not attend our scheme were able to find a suitable alternative. The holiday play schemes provided however did go very well. It's such a shame that at the end of the scheme we had to say goodbye to a couple of staff members at our Malorees site. We wish Nina and Aimee all the best for their future.
One of the highlights of our summer scheme was the Teddy Bears picnic we held to raise funds for the children affected by the Grenfell Tower Disaster. The activity raised £290.00 which The Play Shelter has matched and will be presenting a cheque to the school where children were most affected.
The time has come around so quickly!! it feels as though yesterday we provided the last holiday play scheme!!
It was great to meet all the new children and parents that came to the scheme. As always we provided a varied programme of activities and a great variety of outings and trips. Children made lots of new friends and have arranged play dates to keep in touch. We simply love providing a place that brings you all together.
See you in the summer!!
