Starting Salary £7.00 per hour – 15 hour week
Applicants must have experience of working in an After School Club, Holiday Play Scheme or similar play environment, preferably with children aged 4 – 12 years. A commitment to quality and equality is vital. Applicants must have confident skills and abilities in providing play opportunities through a wide range of activities i.e. creative arts and Crafts, music/drama and indoor/outdoor sports. It is important that the post holder has teamwork skills, communicates and works well with groups of junior children, infant children and parents.
Applicants will be expected to have NVQ II Play work, Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

Holiday Play Scheme Play Leaders
Required to work half term holidays (February and October), Easter or Summer holidays.
Starting Salary £7.00 per hour – 35 hour week.
Applicants must have experience of working in an After School Club, Holiday Play Scheme or similar play environment, preferably with children aged 4 – 12 years. A commitment to quality and equality is vital. Applicants must have confident skills and abilities in providing play opportunities through a wide range of activities i.e. creative arts and Crafts, cookery music/drama and indoor/outdoor sports. It is important that the post holder has a cheerful personality, teamwork skills, communicates and works well with groups of junior children, infant children and parents.

After School Club – Support worker
Walking bus
Required to work term time.
Starting Salary £7.00 per hour – 5 hour week.
Applicants are required to collect up to 3 children from one or two primary schools in the SE1 / SE16 area and take to the After School Club in Bermondsey SE1. Formal childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential; however applicants must have an awareness of the needs of children and be able to interact well with children aged 4 – 12 years. A commitment to quality and equality is vital alongside a professional attitude and cheerful disposition.
Applicants must have confident communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of teaching staff. Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced CRB disclosure and undertake First Aid and Safeguarding / Child Protection training.
